Been a while since I made one,so I decided to put this one together.

Okay,now that we've seen my crappy shot,we'll let Chuck Ward put it in perspective for us.

That's right, it's a mini! The head is 4 inches long and forged from 1/2" 5160 round bar.The haft is curly maple,and is 8" long.The mouth piece and cleanout plug is walrus ivory,and there is also a patterened copper band using a new technique.
I had been wanting to make one of these,and after getting Mike Draper's damascus ball peen,I was inspired to get it done.Thanks for looking,and thanks to Chuck for the great photo!
 
This is a classic! Love the size and especially like the materials used and the detail from clean out to mouthpiece. A real winner, again. :thumbup:

John I looked at it and thought mine got wet and shrunk. Nice job. Like the new copper work.Keep m comming . KT :35:
