A comforting word from Jesus.

I'm an old man and have been to many funerals but the most comforting thing I have ever heard at a funeral was recently at my sister in law's funeral. My wife's oldest sister died recently and she, being Catholic,a priest performed her funeral. Among all the things he said, this was the most comforting. He referred to the Bible verse John 14:2 and14:3 "In My Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so,I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you." "And if I go and prepare a place for you,I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also."
The priest explained that this means at the time of our death Jesus comes to receive us. Wow! How wonderful! I'm not afraid to die because I'm going to heaven when I do,but I didn't know that Jesus will be at my side as I die to receive me untill it was explained to me this way, and now as I read these words I can see clearly that this is what will happen.
"Oh Death,where is your sting?
Oh Hades,where is your victory?"
Hosea 13:14
