A Christmas Gift

Just finished a Christmas gift for a very special person in my life, a man whom has always been there for me regardless of what mistakes I have made. He has always given me great advise and taught me the simple things in life and to always, always treat others as you yourself would want to be treated. Merry Christmas Dad! I love you. This knife is made from O-1 tool steel with dyed and stabilized redwood burl handles. There is vine file work on the spine just for grins. The blade is heat and cryo treated down to 59 RC. The blade is 4 1/2" long and the OAL is 9 1/8". The blade is flat ground versus the hollow grind that I made my first one with. I made this one just for him to use on his pork ribs which are the best!
