6" utility knife

I've been playing around with kitchen knife designs for a few months now and I think I've settled on one I like. This is intended as a general utility knife and would sit in between a paring knife and a large chef's knife.

The blade is 150mm long and 2.4mm at the thickest point, the overall length is 260mm. I've used O1 steel for this one and plan to make a stainless version soon. The handle is from English beech.

That looks clean and functional.
your dimensions sound good. Women in particular, like these smaller Chef knife patterns. I use and like them too! I am 6 ft 4" and 250lb. Its all you really need in length to cook for two to four people.

It is a nice looking knife, where are you getting the stainless from? I can't seem to locate any thin enough.
