Hello everyone, A few months back My oldest son Randy Jr. We call him Jr. around hear. Said he wanted to try his hand at making damascus.
I was pleased to accommodate his desires, as I to have wanted to try and make some steel for years. So after a few months of trial by fire.. He has started to succeed in making some incredible looking and very good quality damascus billets.
This is one he did a little different then all the rest.. Im not sure what to call the pattern, But I do know I LIKE IT! I was thinking Buck shot, But Im almost sure that name is used..
What do you all think we should call it?
Specs
OAL 8 inches with a 3 5/8 inch blade. 1/8 inch thick.
Convex grind and edge. RC 57/58 pattern ??? ??? ? ?????
To say Im a proud of him would be a understatement!
Thanks, and God bless!
