Here's a couple photos of my Walter Brend hand ground Protechs I have, probably couple of my favorite Protechs. If anyone else has a Brend protech, add it to the mix!

These two are the small and large Brend folders. There have been similar designs of walters folders from other companys. I believe the only other folder blades he ground were for Woodard knives (or Whitewolf) and of course Microtech, which didn't end on good note.
Walter would get a pile of blanks, pick the ones to grind and polish.
30 of the large and small models.
I collect #14 Protechs, so I got my #14 Brends a couple years back. Its hard to get a good picture of the high polish, but his work is amazing.
I had pre-ban registered elephant ivory put on the handles and button of both, so they are a matched set. Its a pretty good combination, one of the top knifemakers blade on one of the top prodution automatic folders.2thumbs
Protech and Walter are in talks to make hand ground models of their new fighter that just came out. My wallets is still recovering from these bad boys...

I haven't seen the hand ground before and I am a Protech dealer. Nice.
