First Two Forged Knife Shaped Objects

One of the other setup workers that I work with was about to throw a dozen or so old files in to the scrap. So they came home with me. I made a two brick forge and hammered these out of one file. I understand that where the file teeth are there could be stress risers. These are just two little slicers so I think they will be OK. The first blade has a jute wrapped handle that I may redo. The second has hand rubbed walnut scales secured with bamboo and a stainless steel lanyard loop. The end of the handle could use a little more meat to fit the hand better. The is also a woopsie near the front of the handle that exposes the blue liner. I still have a lot to learn. I did discover that bashing hot metal is way better than standing in front to the grinder. Any suggestions or comments are greatly welcome.
