Wat tool

Just a word of caution when it comes to "flaring" tubing in knife handles..... personally, I only "flare" tubing if it's in synthetics such as Micarta, G10, etc. Flaring tubing in natural handle materials can result in split/wrecked handles if you happen to ship a knife from a drier climate, to a more humid one, and the handle material "swells". (yep, I found that one out the hard way) :)

When it comes to specific tools, the flaring dies for an arbor press are really nice, but I don't like the fact that most are a given angle....not rounded. To that end I made a simple tool from 3/8" round stock..... ground and polish one end to the radius I wanted, then use it like a punch to flare tubing.
