He's hands down one of the best I have seem...Always amazing work. I'm not a huge fan of fancy (probably because I stink at it) but his still are stunning to me.
 
I agree with Daniel. I like fancy to a point, but beyond that the search for uniqueness can become a study in palpable ugliness. Johnny Stout finds class and elegance, with a theme, where others seem to grasp at contrast for contrast's sake. Here, the eye can wander along the patterns and engraving and then finds a resting place in the ivory.
