Grinding out tough angles

The original thought in this mini cleaver was to make the plunge line match the parallel line of the front side of the blade (see the layout lines). But, I don't see how it can be done. Is it possible? It's a hollow grind using an 8 inch wheel if that makes a difference. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Figure a way to hold the knife to match the angle by resting the tip higher is my suggestion.

It's difficult, but it can be done. That being said, it would have be be done "freehand", and I would recommend practicing some before you attempt it on the real thing..... it's pretty easy to have a momentary lapse of concentration....and it all go south!

Thanks for the response. Maybe I'll practice on some wood first. I was thinking a smaller than an 8" grinding wheel would be needed.
