I actually like the way this one turned out, I am working on the funds for a big boy grinder but am learning the quirks of the Crapsman 2x42

1/8" 1095 High Carbon Steel professionally heat treated to 59RC
Blade length 4.5" total knife length 8.75"
Primary bevel taken to .010" before sharpening
Olive Micarta scales with black micarta pins and red liners

AC , don't rule out building one if you're interested in a 2 x 72.

I've been pricing material, I have a welder and cut off saw.... Just looking at options. I think I'll go the step pulley route.

Price having a flange cut for direct drive vs pulleys, bearings, shafts belt. Or go with bolting it directly to the baseplate a couple bolts, nuts, washers is even cheaper and is the same effect. Is my plan any way.
