First knife to post

MikeL

KNIFE MAKER
I've made about 12 knives now. This is the first one I'm willing to post. It is stabilized buckeye Burl handle. 1084 with hamon. (Third attempt at a hamon). The bade is a touch over 4" with a hollow grind (haven't been very successful with flat grinds yet). There is a red g10 liner that I guess doesn't show.
Any comments or critiques are welcome
thanks,
Mike

oops...I just saw a place on the forum for new knife makers to post knives. I don't know how to move this post but perhaps it should not have been posted in the gallery?

that's a really good looking knife. I think you did a fantastic job. The grinds are very good and the fit and finish is excellent.

Thanks for the comments. By the way, the sheath is not made yet so the knife is not sharpened.

Nice! I like the shape would make a good hunting knife, with that hollow grind. Looks very good. I like your makers mark

Thanks again for the comments.
The makers mark came from Ernie Grospitch. He helped with the simple design.
