Zebra wood hunter

Thanks I still haven't finished will post a pic of completed knife still have to finish sand the handle and add about 10 coats of thinned down tru oil and then take the blade up to 1000 grt and polish with mothers
 
That is some awesome looking wood. The hamon is strong yet subtle as it is so it should really pop after polishing the lower bevel.
I'm wondering why you thin down the true oil?
Have only started using it for two knives as is. Does it cure a little faster when thinned?
 
Thanks, It is something i lerned from bruce bump, he explains it in his winding feather fighter wip check it out.
