The TOPS Knives VI Ax, short for Viking Ax, was designed by Leo Espinoza. While it has some similarities to actual Viking axes, Leo added his own flair to the design and it became something totally different. The Vi ax is made from one solid piece of 5/16” 1075 steel. This was to provide better impact resistance with only slightly less edge retention. The 5.25" blade head has a durable black traction coating with a double-edged spike on back for maximum damage. The Viking axe is outfitted with a black linen micarta handle for a comfortable grip you can rely on. Item includes a black leather blade cover, with small loops for attaching to a pack or MOLLE gear.
