Hi from Raleigh NC

I found out about this forum from Anthony of Self Made knives YouTube channel.

I have been been wood working over 30 years and have always wanted to make knives. The fourms are a great way to learn and ask questions. I am building my own 2x72 grinder. I work on the road so it is a VERY slow process to get anything down in my shop. I'm also down for three months getting both my hips replaced. Did the first one two weeks ago and the next in a month. So no shop time for me right now.

Hey, glad you found us! This is a great forum with lots of help. Lots of guys on here are very knowledable about building grinders too, so share your progress as you go.

Here is the grinder as it sits right now. The broom handle is filling in for a 2hp 3ph VFD driven motor.
