Boning Knife with Box Elder Burl

Knife number two of my daughter's kitchen knife set is now finished. I apologize for the crumby cell phone pic. I'll dig out the light box and snap some better photos once the whole set is complete. The nearly 7 inch blade is hollow ground 440C. The scales are stabilized box elder burl with black fiber liners. It matches up really well with the paring knife I finished a couple weeks ago. The knife balances really well, both visually and in the hand. Should make for a great meat carver. I'm quite pleased with how it turned out. Now it's on to the utility knife. All comments are welcome.

Another nice one! Are you to make a matching case or block to store them in too?
I'll be making some kind of a block for storage that can sit on the kitchen counter. Something that will look good and compliment the knives. I've been kicking around some ideas and designs in my head, and I'm open to suggestions if anyone has a good idea.
