What is the general feeling from a Buy/sell perspective with regards to Bohler N690?
I've worked with N690 for a long time, and have had consistent good results.
The question though is, is this what the buyers want or should I rather use the more expensive M390, RWL34, Dama.....and so on..?

I can tell you this, based on my limited experience with VG-10 which is pretty much the same alloy... polish it as much as you can before heat treatment. It's very abrasion resistant, and a pain to hand sand.
