My two favorite knives of the year

These are my last two Christmas orders, and therefore my two favorite knives of the year. I made nicer ones, and ones I liked better, but these are the LAST ones :) These are slipjoints #19 and #20. I build them all as one-off's, but I made an effort to get the dimensions, etc, on these the same at the customer's request. Both are D2 steel blade and spring. One is canvas micarta with stainless pins and bronze birdseye washers, and the other is crimson Aberdeen jigged bone from Culpepper. Flush at all three positions, with a half stop.

I like that "Christmas orders done, no more pressure" feeling. Not there yet myself, have 2 sheaths to finish. Nice job on the slipjoints. Would love to have them both.

Wow, seems like you have put in huge amount of hard work in these knives. I especially liked the work done on splint joints. Great job.

Jason, very good knives. And I like mine: Firebird F7582AL and Ganzo G7393P. I have about 10 knives of this brand in my collection, but these are definitely my favourite.
