I am from central Arkansas and I’m just getting started in the world of knifemaking and I’m already addicted.

I just finished my first knife and I’m already working on number 2, and planning 3 and 4.

With a lot of guidance and a advice from a local knifesmith, I forged out my first knife and heat treated.
Its 1075, differently clay heat treated. I went through 4 normalizations before the final heat soak and quench in parks 50.

I am a bit OCD on details so I spent hours sanding, etching, and polishing.

I look forward to hanging out and learning.

Regards,
Bobby

Hey Bobby! Glad you came aboard. This is a great forum, great bunch of makers on here with tons of help and advice. Guys, I've been talking to Bobby on Facebook and he's on the right track. I've got a feeling he's going to be putting out some nice stuff in the future.

Thanks guys for the warm welcome.

I have the itch that's for sure.

#2 is on its way, it's ready for another clay heat treat.

1075, sharp clip, tapered tang, stainless pins.
