O.K. here we go... this is what I know about this blade:

1. its a cut-down M1891 Carcano bayonet, that is really reworked! SN "ORD" prefix still visible.
2. USPCC "Uncle Sam" pattern card made during WWII and in 1965, is under the acrylic grips.
3. I would just call this a WWII Theater made knife IF I didn't know the following....It was brought back from Vietnam.

The knife has a very light, delicate feel to it, and the grip is small (3 finger grip). So here is my question to you.....

Do you think this could be a Vietcong made knife? Or, do think it was a US Theater made that was used by a US soldier?

Thanks in advance, for your input!!
