A knifemaker from the UK

Hello,

Thought I'd introduce myself and some of my work, I have a small workshop in Cornwall full of vintage machines I've gathered (another interest besides knifemaking). Anyway let me know what you think.

Thanks, I tend to look at pictures of old american cars and then design a knife afterwards. If I look at another knife I just end up copying it.
 
Wow those are great designs very creative looking forward to seeing more. Post up some pics of your shop, love old machinery.
 
No problem, In the thick of it at the moment so it's a bit of a mess :biggrin:

Thanks for showing those, did you add the center set of pulleys to the drill press? I like the gear reduction on the band saw.
Nice roller guides also, I need to try that.

Yep, it was going too fast for titanium, It can also go ridiculously fast to cutting lock bar slots with a dremel wheel. Very handy. I still have no clue who made that bandsaw originally.

Thinking about it it's more hot rodding old tools than restoring them.
