Figured I would post a little intro first. Ive always loved knives as my grandfather was a small town butcher and I was always around them. I still work up all my own game and poultry to this day and I know a good knife for the job is invaluable. I appreciated all the workmanship and skill that goes into making a good knife but never as much as now as I begin to make them myself. I really enjoy it but boy do I have tons to learn. Included a pic of my first 'real knife steel' (O1) knife.
