...nothing Japanese at all, except the name, rather an interpretation of a Burmese Dah.
O7 blade, Ceylon iron wood and some copper.
Blade length: 92 mm
Overall: 204 mm
..Mesua Ferrea, Ceylon iron wood, Indian rose chestnut or Cobras saffron are some of the names and every name represents the charisma of this wood very good....and the material resourcing was a hot an sportive affair...

Heck, Its time for a break to go for a swim in that warm tropical water! :shush: The water here is cold now. By the way that knife is clean, elegant and means business !
 
Very very cool,

I like everything about it. I don't think I've seen handle texturing quite like that before. It's clean and looks effective.

Also a very nice makers stamp. I get sick of mirror finishes too, this one is very classy.

...sheathed in water buffalo leather it is complete now.
