Hallo everyone

I am new on this forum.I am mechanical engineer.Last 25 years working in a turning parts manufacturing co.in india.I like doing new parts,products.When i saw beautiful knife on web, then i searched about knife making & i feel i can try this type of hobby.I had a small workshop.Same machines 1-lathe,1-Drilling machine,2-Troub automat,1-Drill cum tapping m/c.Now i am thinking of to add belt grinder. & to start kinemaking with the help of you people.Please advise.

For biginerrs how to start step by step nife making ?
First to draw a layout, Blade material selection, stock removel process,Heat treatment of blade,tempring,grinding,assembly.its hints & tacts where i can read or take gudiance ? If any book avilable on knife making please suggest.
