I'm a retired LEO from Chicago and I have been creating custom Kydex holsters for 18 months and always have had a fascination with the process of creating custom knives. I have some basic machinist skills but not as advanced as the majority of y'all on this forum. I here to learn and see the fantastic work some of you produce. I still can't sharpen a knife to a razor edge but I'm sure I can learn here on this forum.
I constantly search the knife supplier web sites and have been looking to purchase a new assisted opening knife for EDC. I currently carry a S&W switch blade I bought 10 years ago and as served me well but I need another knife.
I'm currently doing a total renovation on my web page but the old site is still up.
