Kitchen Petty

Here is my kitchen petty design. I thought I would share.

4" blade
.070 thick 1095
Differentially hardened
Edge quenched
Ground to .004 before sharpening
Polished cutting edge
Stabilized dyed Maple burl scales
Brass pins
Mosaic pin
Natural Micarta liners

This style of knife is my favorite in the kitchen. It's my go to blade for small food prep. It is excellent for board use. Super thin and sharp and cuts like a laser!

Nice looking little veggie chopper.

I love little choppers like that myself for fast smaller jobs in the kitchen.

Thanks Laurence. I appreciate it. I prefer the smaller knives like this myself. Unless I'm cutting up a head of cabbage or something, this size is suitable for most tasks
