My mods and kit blades

While I don't have a shop to actually make knives, I do have a workbench where I like to finish kit blades, rescue old users and do a little knife modding, or, as I like to think of it… hot rodding :)
And leather… all the leather is my own work.

Kit blades

Most of the Bagwell mods on a once tired Western W49

Rescued a tired old Western W46-8

And a couple of Buck re-handles

I don't know how I missed this sub forum for so long :les:
Doh...

Wow, great mod work on those knives. They look very clean. Especially impressive given your lack of a workshop.

Awesome work!

Thank you!
Just a big Sears workbench.
I can get stuff done when I can see the top of it ;)

I'm not alone!
:D

That looks like my bench/computer desk. The last one is inspiring me to change up a stag handle on a knife.

Thank you!
I've got to say that after a couple of these one really appreciates the work that goes into a custom knife.

Ebbtide, I think I once knew this guy!:s12137: All joking aside that is nice work. I think a lot of us started by re-working old pieces! I know I re-handled and re-profiled a few when I was getting started. If you can do that kind of work you are ready for a from scratch build!

Nice job on the knifes, but did you catch any fish?
