This category was in one way easy to vote and in another not so easy.
Tactical used to mean applying to military or fighting tactics- which could be any knife with a good grip and sharp edge. But I think in today's knife market 'tactical' is almost interchangeable and with and used *almost* exclusively as 'modern materials'. That means carbon fibers, g-10 and micartas, titanium super conductor bolsters, crisp defined ridges and grooves, thumbstuds and flippers. These are not hard and fast definitions but more guidelines and are not all inclusive.
On that note, I had to vote for Ausbrooks. This, of all the choices, most embodies today's 'tactical' knife.
I like both of the others very much as a side note for different reasons.
