thanks for looking!!!

They all look good. What kind of handle material are you using on the friction folders? The handle material on the straight knives is pretty cool too.

Very well done! Is that some kind of imprint I see on the pins of the fixed blades? Or is this some kind of texture?

Great work, thanks for sharing.

For being new? You are doing quite well! Nice use of the Acrylic wood combos with a excellent little design and your Fric-folders are great!

Hey KDX.... Don't give up, read all you can, Keep working at it and don't be afraid to ask questions.
You will be there before you know it... Good luck, and let us see some of your work.. We all had to start somewhere.

God bless

Thanks Keith. I'm waiting on an oven to arrive (next week) then I will be heat treating some W2 and will see how it goes from there.

Thanks guys, the fixed blade material is from Tom Stone at Beyond wood products, he does resin, and resin wood scales material. i think USA knife makers is going to be stocking his scale material.
the folders, one is snake wood, one is spalted maple, and the other is slightly spalted maple

the pins on the fixed blade , Choppo is what i call them, is a mircata rod, black linen..

i have been doing this for a little over 2 years, still wet behind the ears. i don't think my stuff is good enough to post up top with the big boys. thanks for all the compliments. I do this as a side hobby, I enjoy it! It's nice to make a little $$ as well. pays for my hunting addiction.
