Just built a fire in the shop and when it heat's up I'm going to try out my Acraglas gel that just came in , I have been holding the knife I am working on for this.

I use a lot of Acraglass and haven't used the gel on a knife yet,I did send some gel out to my father in law in the bush and he used it to patch a crack in his dozer trany till I could get out and weld it up for him.

Acraglas gel has nylon in it, which allows a slight give under impact. A good thing in some cases, but I would not use it in a knife grip. I have never understood why it was intended for glass bedding rifle actions, when maximum rigidity is one of the requirements for consistent accuracy. The original Acraglas is one of the best for any epoxy type application.
