Buffing Information

Thanks Smithy, but I am afraid of my buffer. It once threw a Honda CB750 fuel petcock across the street and into my neighbors yard. LOL!

Its smart to have a good healthy respect for that buffer when you are buffing sharp pointy things in particular!:3:

My buffer took a fillet knife from me and stuck it in my leg, this was back in 1992. I have a healthy respect form it now.
It is amazing what a flying piece of sharp steel can do to you or the wall.

The best buffing advice I ever heard was from Gil Hibben. TURN YOUR BRAIN ON BEFORE YOU TURN ON THE BUFFER. Every time a buffer wheel had grabbed something, it was because I wasn't concentrating on what I was doing. Buffing accidents happen in the 'wink' of an eye. The first safety rule---PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT YOU ARE DOING.
