My wifes 1084 knife

Am attemtpting a small knife for the wife to have and use and mabbe Edc

Is 1084 and a scale of birds eye or burl. Am unsure of what grind exactly yet?
 
Is a burl scale of some sort was going through the stack of scales and she saw this one and wanted it on the little knife blank. The handle was small enough that I could get both sides out of the lone scale by flipping ends around. Big fan of minimal waste for knife making. Being cost conscious and broke seem to go hand in hand. Lol
 
The left over piece is going to either be an inlay or a part of a hidden tang knife.
 
That is a fine start Wall e. The blade and handle have a nice flow to them. I am looking forward to seeing it when done. Keep us posted with pics of your work!!

She found a lilac binder to canabalize for liner it is just so thin it takes 3 layers to truly show color
 
Mr Doyle the only issue I have is now I have to find a small drill bit for the pins. Lol Thanks slatroni
