First liner lock

It has been a long time in the making but here is my first liner lock. The specs are D2 blade, Titanium liners, Micarta or G10 scales (I forgot what I bought). I have to give a big thanks to Calvin Robinson, he spent some serious time and effort trying to show me how to build a folder.

Looks good, nice for a first attempt.
I'm just beginning to start with folders, hope my first one can come out as good as yours.

Is the tip of the tang that is exposed when closed the way you open it?
That looks like micarta to me.

Exactly right Calvin, the tip is how you open the blade. I'm placing an order for more folder stuff ASAP. I have ideas in my head for the next one.

Looks good Brad. I'd say the opposite of Calvin and say from the pattern or 'grain' that it looks like g-10.
