I regret to inform you guys that my friend and fellow KnifeDog Johnny Warner passed away yesterday. It came as quite a shock because we had scheduled a visit for today and I should have been in his shop working on a knife instead of typing this.
Johnny didn't post a lot but he taught me a lot. He was very generous with his knowledge, time, & materials. He also opened up his home and shop to several makers who attended Hammer-Ins at Dan Graves'. There would be several of us leave Dan's and go back to Johnny's place to sleep but we'd invariably wind up talking until 2-3 AM.
I will post some info. on the arrangements as soon as I find out the details. Please say a prayer for his family in their time of loss.
