Kirinite Liner Lock

This is a liner Lock I just finished , I thought I would post unassembled , assembling and finished Knife. the knife is 7.25'' LOA , 4'' closed, TI liners and kirinite scales.The blade is 440c flat grind.

I like the grind, lock work, and scales on that- well done.

Very nice! Forgive my ignorance, but why have the stop pin attached to the blade? Is there some advantage to that design vs. a fixed pin? It seems like it would be quite a bit more more work to machine. Thanks for any enlightenment you can provide. -Chris
