Here is a nice little wharncliffe blade with a simple myrtlewood handle.

1075 steel
Myrtlewood handle
3/32 nickle silver pins/1/4" lanyard tube
Hamon Etched/hand polished to 2k
handrubbed finish throughout
2 7/8 cutting edge
7" overall

Very clean looking. I like the lines of your other one a little better. Just preference, nothing to do with quality. This has real good attention to detail. The shaping of the handle looks perfect. (probably wasn't easy....)

Thanks guys. I'm really trying to slow down and make things as close to perfect as my current abilities allow. Handles are not my strong point, however I do seem to be making some progress, lol. I am fortunate enough to have scheduled some class time with MS Ed Caffrey next week which I expect to be very educational and informative. Thus far all I know I learned from the interwebz, lol. Scary huh......?

Cool....That will be money well spent! Sometimes being shown a good way to do something is MUCH faster than trial and error.
