very nice ...I really like the way those look.

You mention that you are using a 'wet' 400 grit belt in part of the process. How do you accomplish that? Is there a special belt for that, or? I've never heard of using a wet belt before. Wet sandpaper yes, but not a belt.

I run 3Ms 341d belts in both 240 and 400 grits 'wet'. I just squirt water on the dry belt and spread it around a bit with a brush, then as I'm working, I re-apply water as needed. These 3M belts hold up really well to water. I run them very slow... less than 10 percent on my older Bader analog dial. There's practically no heat build up. Fresh applications of water also clean away the swarf.
