Silly me!!!! I guess that comes from trying to type on an Ipad - I was trying to ask "how did you attach the carbide?" Did you solder or epoxy? I'd guess epoxy would be easy and should hold pretty good... AND - where did you get those nice pieces of carbide? Looks like they are just right. Cost of carbide?

You did a good job with the photo, I can see the counter sunk cap screws and guide pins.

Ken, the carbide are applied with JB Weld and were purchased from Centennial Carbide (centennialcarbide.com) at a cost of 12.55 ea.
 
i just finished mine not long ago, mine is all stainless and carbide as well, it's a great tool, if any of you have any doubts about getting/making one, do it, you won't regret it.
