D2 and mammoth ivory, take 2

I’ve started doing some things to my standard model knives to take them up a few notches. This knife is my basic Spicewood Special design with bolsters. On this piece, you may notice several things. One, I did nickel silver bolsters, dovetailed at 30 degrees. Two, I included full length filework. Three, I sprung for the good stuff: mammoth ivory scales. Four, this knife is made of D2 tool steel, precisely heat treated in a digital controlled kiln, and given a cryogenic temper. Enjoy the pics
