Need help with Stainless selection for 3 special knives

I personally believe ELMAX or even M390 is your best choice here. Both hold an edge better than S35VN and are easier to sharpen. If it's cutting performance youre after go with M390. Elmax is a little tougher and is great for hard use and really both steels are extremely tough IMO. As far as...

    Kydex folder sheath design input.

Man both are outstanding! I like the one on the left because it looks more secure to me. I have just in the last couple months become familiar with your company and work and you easily have the best kydex work going in the industry. I would love to hear some tips and tricks from you sometime...

I was able to get a little work done today. I traced then cut out the handles. The handle material is call Terra Tuff. Very similar to micarta but is made of polyester. Machines MUCH easier and supposedly isnt toxic like the micarta dust. Here I drilled and relieved the holes for the...

    Mkd wip

Just a few min's of clean up from the place I get mine cut from. Not too bad and MUCH easier than cutting or grinding down from stock. I dont have a bandsaw so I have just been grinding down usually from 2" stock so the water jet is a life saver. As I understand some offer a very fine finished...

Hello to all and my first question...

Yeah brother that's too fast.. gotta go with the 1725 RPM motors. You'll find yourself very frustrated running at that speed. You'll be grinding things down you never meant to. Slower is always better, especially just starting out. Spend the extra dough on the 1725.. you'll be glad you did. Even...
