Thanks Frank. I went to Customknifegallery.com to see your knives. Very beautiful work. I did not see any cracks although I have seen some in knife magazines. What is your opinion do you try to fix it and use it or not. Is a natural crack in a piece of ivory considered acceptable?

I have a pair of mamoth ivory scales that I have profiled and drilled so far but not attached to the knife. One scale has a fine crack at one end. I was told to use zap a gap to seal the crack. It looks ok in the darkened part of the ivory but the sanded end where it is white does not look so...
