Looks like useful sheaths that are going to last someone a good long time. Nice touches with the embossing on the second and I like the subtle lines around the mouth of the profile of the sheath in the first two pics.

Another tip is to be sure you're applying the dye in fluid circular strokes. Note that a freshly charged wool dauber will drop most of its dye as soon as it hits the leather and it is going to saturate that one spot. Your job is to blend that dye as fluidly as possible and blend that drop zone...

Great info from Dwayne. If you're using alcohol-based dye it will dry out your leather. I strongly urge using some type of conditioner on your leather after dying to increase its longevity. Neatsfoot works, or Lexol, or any other conditioner you like. I use both of those listed, but not...
