    That is some cool stuff. I'm up for buying some. Just my two cents but I think you should go with a nice maple handle. The light colored wood against the dark colored blade should look good. But like I said just my two cents.

    33ton log splitter converted to hydraulic press for Damascus

    Does the ram move fast enuff? All of the other presses I have seen move somewhat fast. Most log splitters move slow. Do u have to compensate for that on your heat temps?
