Hello to all. Found this board through usaknifemaker.com
I've been collecting knives half-way seriously for a few years now but I haven't been able to afford the higher end knives that appeal to me so much.
I've decided to give knife making a try in the hopes that somewhere along the line I might make something beautiful like those knives I've seen and lusted after
Bought a fixed blade knife kit to start with, a drop point (hence my name, couldn't think of anything else) and put some rosewood skins on it. Still cleaning it up. Liking it so far and plan on doing more. Next one will be from a blank I think.
So here to learn and browse. I'll probably just lurk for a while.
