I rehandled this chinese survival knife for a friend recently. it was a cheap knife but the new handles made it look pretty good. it was originally cord wrapped but i replaced it with cherry scales.

I have had problems with rust under the hemp wrapping on the handle of other knives I have made like this. I cannot figure out a way to seal the hemp to keep out moisture . That is the reason I used the 440 for the blade. If someone else knows a way to seal the hemp against moisture please let...
