LonePine

I retired in 2008 after working 30 years in the Wisconsin Technical College System in the field of instructional media (i.e. audio visual). I've been interested in hand made knives since the 1970's when I put the handles on finished blades. I guess making a complete knife was on my bucket list because when I retired (2008) I started down the long road of learning to make knives. With no previous metal working experience I've had a lot of learning to do. My goal is to enjoy myself and make a solid usable knife. I'm not blessed with patience and my knives have a lot of what I call "character marks" though others call them dings, nicks, scratches, flaws, etc.
