SO would you have one system with a water separator for both wood working (handle finishing) and for grinding steel? OR would you have two systems one for the wood and the other for the steel. Keeping in mind the handles may get the occasional spark from pins and guards etc?

I have made several blades as well as completed some bought blanks. I am working on a blade now that has file work. How do you glue the handles on and not get any glue in the file work?
