I have been wanting to make this for some time now. It is made off of an old Keen Kutter pattern. The blades are D-2, the scales are G-10, and the bolsters are lightning strike carbon fiber.
Thanks for looking,
Gene
I like Daddy Barlows but I think most of them are too long and skinny. I made this one 4 1/2" closed instead of 5" and proportioned it more like a regular Barlow. It has iron liners and bolsters with rough cut bone scales. The blade and spring are D-2 just because that is what I can heat treat...
Ebay is where I got this one. I bought a couple of Russells too that I plan to use for parts when I get time. I would like to do a daddy barlow sometime if I can find some doner bolsters. It would make a neat back pocket knife.
Thanks a lot,
Gene
I made this knife using the bolsters and pattern from an old broken Remington.
D-2 blade and spring
Mill relieved liners
stag scales
cut swedge

I have seen Buck 110 & 112 knives converted to autos and am looking for instructions on making them. Has anyone done a tutorial on this?
Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks a lot.

This is a knife I recently sold on blade forums. It is 4 3/4" closed and 8 1/4" overall. I also make 2 smaller versions. This one is 1095 high carbon steel But I am now using D-2 tool steel.
Thanks for looking.
