i can't speak for the other guys who are far far better than me. but I started out using cheap Harbor freight single cut files. when i made the change to double cut i was happy with the results, but when i made the change to a double cut nicholson i was really impressed by the difference. so far...
one of my two year old twins is sitting in my lap as I'm looking through KD. she sees the pic of this knife and says "Daddy made that?" I laughed and said "no". Sure wish i had though, great looking knife, bet you're excited!
I like the pattern. To me it looks like a series of wildly designed columns, so for my suggestion: "Corinthian Columns" A little different, but a name that would stand out I think.
Seeing you guys do all the great socket handles made me want to try, the socket ended up a little too small to mount to anything but a twig so theres no spear in my future, but it feels good in the hand just the same. Wrap is stained Jute.

Thanks guys! The antler was from one my father in law took, it does fit the hand great and has a little curve that works great for a leftie (which I am) wish I could say I planned it that way but it was a happy accident
