I have useg KMG for 16 years. I have the TX now . Its a tank Smooth quiet. Service has always been first rate.

KMG with tilt , variable speed and rotary platen. heavy SOLID. No vibration. You can flatten a blade with a magnet and flat platen.

I know this is late , but if that cocobolo is still available I would love to take it off your hands.

I have had my 3 speed kmg for 15 years with no problems. Just ordered the KMG TX. Beaumont people have always been a joy to deal with. Buy Once, Cry Once.

Just wanted to share my experience. I wanted to try Parks 50 for my 1084 and 1095. I called Maxim Oil , spoke to Carla. She took my order, gave me the cost and shipping. Charged to my VISA. Oil arrives 3 days later. Recite in mail 2 days after that . Entire transaction took less than 5 minutes...

Have done the same thing. You can waste alot of time trying to fix it. Make a smaller, thinner blade out of it. It's nice that so many of us make the same mistakes. It adds to the brotherhood.
